1792 Two Gangrel vampires from the Iroquois Confederacy travel west, looking for peace from the conflict between their peoples as well as the machinations of European vampiric society. They don’t stop until they reach the Puget Sound, far away from whites, and peopled with native tribes that, while not allowing them to be among them, are sympathetic to their plight. 1851 Europeans arrive in Seattle, and the white settlement of the area that would become Seattle begins. 1860 Vampires follow the trails of settlers and prospectors toward the Pacific Northwest. Far from the courts of the Ivory Tower and the predations of the Sabbat, a Barony forms, led by a Spaniard named Alessandro Francisco de la Torre. The Anarchs claim Seattle and form the Barony of the Wooded Hills. 1880 The Ivory Tower, who had been moving into the area for some time, seize Seattle in a multi-pronged effort. Utilizing boons, mortals, influences, and (some say) other…things, the Barony of the Wooded Hills falls to the Camarilla. The first Prince is Janice Eachum, a young Ventrue from the Midwest. 1885-1886 A war hits the Camarilla out of the blue by an unknown assailant. The local Fae freehold, for some reason, takes umbrage with how the Camarilla is running the area. The ensuing violence explodes in chaos and violence across the city, and the Tower suffers heavy losses in personnel and influence. To the mortal world, this manifests as the Anti-Chinese Riots. The Kindred of Seattle and the Fae will have sporadic conflicts that last until current nights. 1889 The Great Seattle Fire consumes a large part of the city. A new city center is quickly built over the ruins, giving the Nosferatu ample space to create new warrens. 1929 The Great Depression begins. During the turmoil, Prince Eachum is killed by unknown assailants. Prince Oliver Fitzpatrick, of the Brujah, takes Praxis. 1933 The Barony of the Shattered Tree is formed south of Seattle, once again led by Baron de la Torre, who survived the best efforts of the Camarilla in 1880. 1942 The wartime boom hits Seattle like a train, and the city switches from logging and mining to aerospace and war materials. 1955 The Brujah of the Ivory Tower attack a group of Setites whom they accuse of stealing territory and menacing the local mortal populace. Prince Fitzpatrick gives his Clan full leave to use whatever methods the Brujah deem necessary to drive the Setites out. Within two months, all of the Followers are either driven out or destroyed. 1962 The World’s Fair comes to Seattle, bringing the city into the global spotlight. A Praxis seizure takes place in the city from Ventrue Primogen Herbery Quimby, who offers a bloodless solution. Prince Fitzpatrick refuses, and elects to attack the Primogen. In a fight that left many confused, Primogen Quimby easily dispatched the Prince, and claimed the Princedom. 1994 Three Camarilla Nosferatu go missing. Their locations cannot be divined by sorcery or prophecy, and they are presumed dead. The Nosferatu Primogen is tight-lipped about the previous whereabouts or current activities of the three. 1994 - 1995 The Nosferatu Vendetta. The Nosferatu Primogen accuses the local Chantry of murdering the missing Nosferatu, and petitions Prince Quimby for justice. The Tremere Primogen denies the charges at first, but under further questioning by the Prince admits that they decided to kill the Nosferatu rather than ransom them back to their Clan, since these three had broken in to the local Chantry and attempted to steal things, both physical and intangible. After a staggering amount of Prestation is levied by both sides, Prince Quimby issues Blood Hunts (without Amaranth) for each Tower-loyal Tremere for violating the Sixth Tradition. For the ensuing year, the members of clan Nosferatu (as well as other vampires looking to settle grudges or gain Prestation) hunt their quarry. The Chantry is located and sacked, and eventually every Trophy is claimed. 1999 The Barony of the Shattered Tree loses several prominent members as Assamites return to The Mountain. 1999 The Red Star appears in the sky. 2001 Groups of mortal hunters begin to sweep across Seattle, killing a large number of Camarilla Kindred. The Anarchs seem largely unaffected. Rumors circulate that the hunters have help, either from the Anarchs or the Fae. 2006 Seattle joins the rest of the Camarilla in purging all known Caitiff from the city, including those who claim membership in the Anarch Movement. 2008 Justicar Cock Robin is assassinated, ostensibly by the Anarch group known as the Phoenix Society. Prince Quimby uses this as grounds for moving more forcefully against the Anarchs. 2008 In wake of the fighting between the Tower and the Anarchs, Sabbat move into the city, destabilizing any remaining influences and casting the city into chaos. 2009 In response to the upsurge in vampiric war, mortal Hunters redouble their efforts, killing dozens of vampires across King County. 2009 The Red Star fades. Mortal faith surges. By the end of the aborted “End of the World,” Seattle’s vampiric population has been reduced by 80%. 2010 Toreador Primogen Harald Grænnskjöldur kills himself to satisfy a Life Boon, thereby saving his childer from being murdered by Assamites. 2011 The Independent Alliance is created. They swiftly, and with unknown contacts and numbers, claim most of Northern King County. 2012 The Chicago Blood Accord is signed. The war between the Camarilla and the Sabbat is now a cold war. Neither the Independent Alliance nor the Anarch movement are invited to the summit. 2013 Big Bertha, the massive boring drill creating a new tunnel underneath Seattle, stops unexpectedly. The public is told that it hit a steel pipe and was damaged. This is untrue, but no one in Kindred society claims to know the source of the cover story, nor what was unearthed by the drill. 2015 Prince Herbert Quimby is assassinated. Though many believe it was from a Camarilla rival, the act is blamed on both the Anarch Movement and the Independent Alliance. Theodor Gray, Brujah Primogen, takes Praxis with the support of the Primogen Council.

Seattle’s mortal world is experiencing an unprecedented economic boom, but the same cannot be said for the Ivory Tower in the area. With numbers decimated by all of the sordid events during the Red Star, and both the Anarchs and the Independent Alliance on their doorstep, the walls of the Tower feel more beset than ever. Odd dreams plague those who sleep in the city, and stranger things than vampires hide within the city.
